This is a modern made sword, done in the Japanese style, and was originally sold by Cicada Forge. Cicada forge made production swords for Iai training. The sword is in overall great condition and is well balanced. There are a few surface scratches, but no chips, cracks or bends. The Koshirae is complete and has Green Ito and Saego, Dragon F/K, Dragon Menuki, Shishi Tsuba. The saya is trying to come apart along the seams and needs to be re-glued prior to use. I was told these sword sold originally for around $1000 USD. I can't tell you much more than that, it should make a nice training sword once the saya has been re-glued. SOLD
